one result for the juice...  I'll post more as i find them.  Scrutinising the juice specs does look very good, even if their manual tries to be 'totally rad'

ahh the benchmark, doesn't show a great lot of info for the J2500, but at least its something (this is hijacked from http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=855865&page=2)

compare with the behringer at 4ohms/channel:
In these tests neither amp delivers its claimed ratings at 20hz, however, the tapco does pull ahead alot at mid at 4ohms.  Not sure what to make of these tests tho as they're on different testing rigs, but its food 4 thought

Now the interesting things Sleepy:  Any amplifier manufacturer that provides a spaceman powered off the fan PSU is a friend of mine!  I'm going to buy at least one just to see how much control the spaceman exerts over my cones LOL
now for the good stuff: close up of the spaceman, who looks like he can kick uli behringers ass with his one hand tied behind his back LOL:

double post Shocked  Reading Reading between the lines of the behringer & tapco manual specs seems to suggest the tapcos forte is at lower impedances...

behringer dont quote a 20hz-20khz at 4ohms bridge for the EP2500, where as they do quote 8ohm bridge 20-20k.
Tapco do quote 20hz-20k 4ohm bridge for the J2500, so the assumption must be that tapco are confident they can quote this.
Despite the poor results above, the J2500 might deliver alot more at 4ohms bridge than the behringer can sustain..
However, the back photo has a little sticker claiming max 1400watts:

this would be about right for program power, however looking at the back of a proline2700, it claims 4500KVA maximum for a 2.7Kw amplifier...

I don't think any company (apart from a few Big%20smile) exceeds their ratings nowadays, it's just a matter of how close they get.

Maximum rating of the IEC power inlet at 120V.

The circuit breaker is 20A/120V, or 10A/230V (as per the schematic).

thats good, i was hoping they wouldn't be so conservative! *updates spreadsheet*  25% more generous than Behringer.  Despite the almost silly marketting pitch the J2500 is looking like a usefully cheap (dare i say disposable Wink) solution at the moment.

cheers,
  Rob.

50 USD more than the Berry (which sells for 250, so the tapco is 300)

In UK stores it's around 240-50 quid...last time I checked the Berry and the Tapco could be had for roughly the same prices dependant on store...

On your ebay store, the UKP1300 which betters both is 220 quid. I wonder....
