Any of the mini-scoop/scoop owners think it's a good combination to have Folded Horns above Mini-Scoops or not ?

Anyone know who built this stack...Someone up west maybe ?

I'm still wondering, what else could be in those mid/tops cabs as well as the visible bullets that would work well ?

1'' / 2'' comp ? but I'd really like to know if the mid driver was a 8'' or 10'' as to me
it looked quite small.

2 stacks sounded superb! Crystal clear/clean - Them bullets was definately firing right this night!
Looks like PD loaded mini's so you know the deep rolling bass was there too.

Looks very much like his but the boxed out handles on the mini's says different.

I'm more than sure every year I pass on that corner in Bristol carnival near the main stage, there's usually a system called Playboy there under a tent/marquee. Maybe it's still them with some upgraded cabs!

Really wanted to go to this but been so busy!!

Was it 2 stacks or just 1?

The folded horns look a bit like a Tony A.S.S 15 horn

Hmmm

seeing as mini's are really just large ported reflex cabs, it will be fine, as long as they are crossed over low

yes Mykey, i woulda thought Miniscoops would only exhibit horn loading over a certain frequency due to physical limits. Maybe a HOG-style supermini (as the hog is pretty small already LOL) could overcome these, though.

Those folded horns are the 1x15 version, half a BS1200 (not sure of the model #)

Anyways, even if a miniscoop is as Mykey suggested simply a reflex box at low frequencies, this would still work very well, just not as efficient. (see Martin Arena and other systems with horns over reflex).

Neat stack whoever that is.

FURTHER EDIT:

Just realised what the tops were - more indestructible ASS gear:
They're the flying cabs in this pic

Pics courtesy of Tony (ASS) on the other side. You can ask him bout these cabs.

I think 1x USB loaded with 2x Celestion/PD186 would be perfect, on top of 4-6 minis, layed end to end as in pic.

whilst were on the topic would people reckon stick to the cheaper of the two p.audio options for esbph or something else, apologies for hijack not sure it was worth its own thread though. will be buying the drivers pretty soon as the woods nearly all cut now (at the moment we've only got 3-4 ourhs workshop time a week so its slow progress)
