Metropolis? You mean the big night in the north, run by Wilf, or someone knocking off the name? I like the yellow 1850 braces, the rest looks a bit... mish-mash.

Yes Metropolis, wilf etc...
yeah 2 1850's, I am a big critic of sound and it was sounding very nice, with enough depth to the sound in a majority of the room....
First time messin about with the 1850's they are good but I think there is better out there, was nice to try them in a testing scenario, as far as I am concerned we are pretty much done with this one Logic setup and will prob be going down some other roads for another rig for bigger venues.
unfortunately don't have enough Logic to do full Logic rig for this size venue, which can prob fit about 700 people, also the room goes way back and is a horrible place for sound, lot's of random wasted spaces as it is part corridor, part bar and terrace in the Uni. I'll admit it is definately a big of a mish mash All considering everyone was very pleased with the result.

Reminds me of the light fittings dropping out of the ceiling one by one in the F1 demo room at plasa in 2006

You need a pile of four for them to come into their own, the big hump in their response makes them pretty much perfect for most drum and bass. Try them like that in a single stack, perhaps with the Logic midtops on top of the G sub and see if you're a little more impressed.
'Better' is a subjective term, and it depends what you're looking for in a bass bin.

I have started saving images - Il make a thumbnail page for most of the pics in this thread.Have done pages 99 - 183 so far. Will use irfanview for those.
Much faster than looking through comments/quotes/oversized pics.
here it is below.Looks abit strange but still works as one big ~600kb JPEG to get an idea rather than clicking 'next page' 160 times.
